okay how's that

okay let's die again

we cannot be saved for the kingdom of god

without the hope of the gospel which we know is the good news of the kingdom of god

and the things concerning the name jesus christ and we know

there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved

and paul tells us in in the same chapter and you that were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works

ye now has he reconciled in the body of his flesh to death

to present you holy and unblameable and unreprovable

in his sight

we can't be presented holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight

that is christ

if we don't continue in the hope of the gospel

i asked myself what are some of the things concerning the name of jesus christ

well one of the many things our lord said was

by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if you have long one to another

what kind of love is our lord talking about

well he said a new commandment i give unto you that you love one another as i have loved you that ye also love one another

how did he show his love for us

for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life

god loved us by giving his beloved son for us

our lord said that the love of many shall wax cold

how do we show our love for one another

the lord jesus said to us a new commandment i give unto you that ye love one another as i have loved you that ye also love one another

how did our lord

love us

he gave his life for us

and he said that we should love one another as he has loved us

do we love our brothers and sisters i'm sure we do

and

we remind one another about the vision

the glorious kingdom that is to come

and we strive to help one another to enter in in the day of our lord's return

that's when we can show our love for one another

in another way

james tells us as if a brother or sister be naked and destitute of daily food and one of you say unto them depart in peace be warmed and filled

not with standing you give them not those things which are needful to the body what does this profit

and i'm sure we don't fall into that category

the proverb says do not withhold good from those to whom it is due when it is in your power to do it do not say to your neighbor go and come again tomorrow i will give it

when you have it with you

there were divisions amongst the ecclesias also

and brother paul tells us

he says brethren

by the name of our lord jesus christ that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment

and of course we know we can't love one another

being divided

there's no communication

and two can't walk together unless they agree

look what advice paul gives us he's talking to timothy and he tells timothy until i come

give attendance to reading excitation to doctrine

neglect not the gift that is in thee

which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the present theory

meditate upon these things

give thyself holy to them

that thy propheting

may be appears to all

take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine

continue in them for in doing this thou shall both say thyself and them that hear thee

and you know there are different doctors that are being taught out here

and they're creeping into the ecclesiastes

and uh recently him watching uh on youtube uh the brother and speak and they were

saying about how

things were creeping into the ecclesia

that

lord said that there shouldn't be

and i happened to see it myself and of course i was surprised

and then there were sisters that were given

excitations at the memorial service i saw this myself

and um

so we have to be very careful and there's other doctrines

that these brothers were saying that

there were churches that were near them

that came to

the

evening lectures

and they didn't like what they heard

because they were brother and they were speaking saying that

you have to be baptized

and be uh

believe the gospel

then

that which you uh listening to

the gospel you have to

hear it believe it and then do something about it

and then there were some that were not of our faith

they were offended by because they thought that baptism wasn't necessary

and we also have

things that are sort of creeping in

from the outside of the world that people will say that um

signs and

and the bible can go hand in hand

but

that's not true

um

you got individuals that say that

we come from a love of jelly

out of the ocean

of course

we know that the word of truth the bible god's word says that we're made in god's image

there are scientists and others that are saying that

the

structure in the atmosphere up there the rocks planets hitting each other and it took over billions and billions of years

and

the earth was formed

and uh

we know the scripture tells us

thou shalt not do any work on the sabbath day

because in six days the lord

made this finish his creation in six days

then you also have in the first chapter of genesis and the evening in the morning was the first day so on right on down the line but yet there are those who say that science and man

can be in harmony together and yes science and man can be in harmony with god as long as science is in agreement with god

continuing paul says charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high-minded nor trust in the uncertain riches those riches that are going to perish that we know

but in the living god who giveth us richly all things to enjoy

charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high minded no trust in uncertain riches but in the living god who giveth us richly all things to enjoy that they do good that they be

right just in good works ready to distribute willing to communicate

we know that this world is just like sodom and gomorrah

just like it was

so is this world today

and we know sodom and gomor parish

so is this evil world

going to end also

ah but we know there's the gospel

the good news of the kingdom of god

and the things concerning the name of jesus christ emmanuel our lord

what did the lord god say to moses

that is yet to come for us

we remember these words there's a lot of things that the lord god said to me and said but i have one particular thing in mind and one of my favorite verses of scriptures i'm sure all of all of i can speak for all of us

for numbers 14 21 but as truly as i live all the years should be filled with the glory of the lord

it's going to be a glorious day in that day

you know

what is this glory of the lord about

our brother paul tells us

who shall change all of our bodies that it may be fresh and like under his glorious body

according to the working whereby he is able even to do all things unto himself

that's our lord he's going to change all of our bodies that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body

and just in passing

remember when the lord was praying to the father and he was speaking

for himself and also for his disciples he said father give me that glory that i had with me in the beginning before the world was

and the voice came back and said i have

and that's that glorious body

that was changed from

the

death this dying body because of sin

that's dying every day

but yet our lord when he comes which is basic teaching for us i know

he's going to change all of our bodies like unto his glorious body

what a wonderful day that's going to be

and that can only happen our body's being changed like unto our lord's body

if we continue in the faith grounded and settled

and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel

that gospel is we know that the gospel is

the center and [Music]

of god's purpose and plan that he has for this earth and mankind upon it everything that we need to know and do is wrapped up in that gospel

when one

looks at the gospel

that was before a priest under abraham

and go back to the old testament and read how god

was with abraham and isaac and jacob and sarah and leo rebecca and all of them and the trials that they went through

you can see the good news of the gospel deserve about god's kingdom

and the things concerning the name of jesus christ there were things that we have to do things that we have been commanded to do

and keeping our lives

straight through from genesis all the way to revelation

the theme of the gospel does not change

one last thing

i think i got this mixed up uh

yes

okay

one last thing

when it comes to

having uh we having personal problems such as

do we know of someone that's gotten themselves into a sinful situation

because of a moment of weakness

and we know that

i know personally that there

uh many that are going through

tremendous uh trials

because of the weakness of the flesh

that we all share

and have left

or either have been disfellowshipped

and have come back

someone that has repented of their sin and we do we know of anyone

that has repented of the sin and isaac and is accepted back into the fold

but in our heart we have scorned for them

even though we say yeah oh yeah we we can accept them back but in our hearts we have scorned for them because we think what they did was awful

remember the words of peter

then came peter to him to the lord

and he said i'll shall my brother sin against me and i forgive him to seven times

and i have to ask myself

oh which is if that's your attitude which is not

um

seven times do you do you think uh

richard that that's uh enough to forgive somebody your brother if they sin against him

well if the answer is yes

i don't know when christ is going to come back

but i'm pretty sure

that i'm going to fail more than seven times before he comes back and so what am i going to do if i've had that if i've got that attitude

and my seven times are up and it sounds like peter was saying lord seven times i i think that's enough uh

he asked the question how many times said i uh my brother sent against me and i'll forgive him uh what about seven seven times

we should all be

very strong with each other and trying to

encourage provoking one another to good works in christ

there's enough hands out in that world of the stopping that can interfere us from getting into the kingdom

we can't be

hospitable or giving

i just came to my mind i can't think of where it is

and

god says you you you approach unto your brother with the closed fists

you know you can't give anybody anything

if your fist is closed

the lord says for with what judgment ye judge

he shall be judged

and with what measure he met it shall be measured unto you again

so likewise shall my heavenly father do also unto you

if ye from your hearts forgive not everyone his brother their trespasses

i

wonder if we if we really take that verse very seriously

well

with that saying that to me

if i don't if i got something against my brother or sister

and i don't want to forgive him

i mean that's it for me

according to

what this verse is said neither will your heavenly father forgive you your trespassing and you if you're not forgiven

that sounds like a saying to me um

you workers of iniquity i know you not depart from me that's a judgment scene i don't want to hear that and i'm sure you don't want to hear it in any way

whatever we do to each other

how awful we may think it may be

you're not going to remember that anyway in the kingdom there's not going to be no those fleshly ideas in the kingdom it's all behold i make all things new

well for my understanding i don't i don't think we're going to be

well at the judgment scene

but

what do you think you're going to what are you going to be thinking about you're going to be thinking about somebody that did something to you and you couldn't forgive them what are you going to be thinking about when we when we meet christ

i i doubt it i don't think anybody is going to be

thinking about what so-and-so did to me i don't i don't think that's going to be on our mind and hopefully i pray that it it won't be on our minds

let us not depart from the hope of the gospel of our lord and

may we also remember his commandment

a new commandment i give unto you

that ye love one another

as i have loved you

that ye also love one another

and narrow and uh yeah that's uh that's a tough thing right to forgive people who sit against you that's that's a hard thing but

i think i agree i agree with you uncle richard jesus says we're in a tough spot if we're not going to forgive our brothers because

that's i think that's writing the lord's prayer isn't it so if you don't forgive your

if you don't forgive trespasses then you're not going to be forgiven i have a course to do

well it's not a question but

you you may think i'm uh

i can't think of the word that i want to use but i'm going to say it anyway and that is is there anything that one of our children can do

to make us stop loving them

do you uh

and and i would like to believe it and and i do believe i don't think that uh

uh our children whatever they do to us

that they could they would cut our love especially when you know the truth

and um

i am so i try to keep that

well i don't have no problem with forgiving anybody nobody done nothing to me anyway for me to forgive them for anyway so

um but um

i i i don't believe that my son could do anything to me to make me stop loving him uh the door is always open to him even though that he hasn't accepted uh the things that we know and that we believe in and even though he knows

because i taught him

the basics and he knows

but

uh

we communicated with with each other and i never uh i i we remind him from time to time i don't beat him over the head he knows what a road i'm on and everything he knows and i'm not getting off this road

the way of christ

and he and he knows that and he respects me

and he knows that i love him and he knows that um time is short

but i'm not going to uh

losing the sleepover in this if i can use that what i mean by that is that

i just keep him in my prayers

and and keep the door open

and i called him up often

and i said just let me let me know if you're okay

call me up so even if you say hi doing dad i'm okay and that's it that's fine with me

the door will never be shut

and i don't think our lord will shut the door on us either

i think that final judgment is going to be at the judgment scene

and

so but anyway um

we just got to look like christ said to love one another and not

with just our mouth

but in actions you know you know of anybody that that's sick or any and we do good on that that's that's that's wonderful i think our pleasure is that loving ecclesia i don't think there's nobody in

on this earth that's loved more than i am

by my brothers and sisters values

and that means a lot to me and uh

uh

it's

sometimes i just get lost for words but uh
